Tasks4Me
How it works

From “we should do this” to “done”.

A walk through a real day: an owner gives a developer two jobs, one of which has to happen first.

  1. 1

    The company account

Sarah runs a small company. She signs up, names the company and becomes its Owner.

  2. 2

    Her people

In Team she adds Daniel with his e-mail, role Member and title Developer. Tasks4Me gives her a temporary password to hand to him; Daniel picks his own at first sign-in. (She could also send him an invitation link.)

  3. 3

    A map for the project

She opens a map called “Website relaunch” and types the work around it: Back up the site, Update the server, Go live.

  4. 4

    Owner, priority, order

She gives both technical tasks to Daniel, marks Update the server as Urgent, and draws an arrow from Back up the site to Update the server: first this, then that.

  5. 5

    Daniel’s list

Daniel gets a notification. In My tasks he sees Back up the site at the top, ready to start, and Update the server below it, marked “waits for: Back up the site”.

  6. 6

    Done, and next

When Daniel sets the backup to Done, Sarah sees it on the map and Daniel is told he can start the server update. Questions go in the task’s comments, where both can see them later.
